A neighbourhood café, built for the feed.

Café Gentile is a Montréal family café established in 1959. Amuse revamped its social presence without losing the Italian-family identity — and opened new revenue when the dining room couldn’t carry it alone.

The challenge

How do you grow a 60-year-old café without losing what made it home?

A family café since 1959 needed a modern social presence that respected its identity — and then COVID closed the dining room, and the community had to be kept close from a distance.

The approach

Modern feed, family voice.

We held the community daily, kept the family voice intact, and opened new revenue beyond the counter when the room couldn’t carry it.

01 · Customer Champion

Hold the community

Social-first content and daily community management kept the café present in the feed.

02 · Chief Storyteller

Keep the family voice

Content and design that carried 60 years of Italian-family identity into a modern grid.

03 · Growth Driver

Open new revenue

Launched a catering push and a private-events offering when the dining room couldn’t carry it alone.
